Why this course?
Self Awareness in behavioral language is the key to understanding how an individuals presence and contributions are being experienced by others. It is foundational to ones personal and inter personal effectiveness, that underpin their development as Leaders of people and teams. More so, in an age that demands a shift from Solo to Team Leadership.
The Belbin Team Role Methodology is the gold standard in understanding and leveraging behavioral contributions at work. This In Company Course serves to discover ones strengths and associaled weaknesses as seen through a behavioral lens, and helps strategise ones path to Leadership effectiveness at work.

Course Content & Path
Before the Course:
Preparation of BELBIN Individual Report for each participant, a BELBIN Working Relationship Report for a random pair of participants, and a BELBIN Team Report for a random selection of participants
One Full Day: Instructor Led Class Room - Face to Face:
- The nine BELBIN Team Roles – The lingo, framework & methodology
- Understand and interpret BELBIN Individual reports, BELBIN Team Reports and BELBIN Working Relationship Reports
- Understanding the BELBIN Team Report of her or his team, the Working Relationship Report, and what these mean to the Leader and those being led.
- Experiencing, in the classroom, how Team Roles interact with each other, and discovering appropriate ways of treating team members/ delegating to others / interacting with one’s team.
- Transitioning from Solo to Team Leadership
- Case Studies, Discussions, Games that help raise the bar on one’s leadership effectiveness

Day 30: Project Review 1 of 2 - Online
One hour - Online collective review of Project progress. Understanding behavioral contributions that enable and disable team performance. Overcoming barriers to behaviour change.. in oneself and others. Experiences in getting started with transitioning from Solo to Team Leadership.
Day 45:Project Review 2 of 2 and Conclusion - Online
One hour - Sharing experiences in new behavioural contributions, and in transitioning from Solo to Team Leadership.
